Get ready to climb to new heights! Following the extensive regeneration of a Victorian church, Above Adventure, Ayrshire’s first-ever indoor climbing centre, is set to open on the 20th May 2023. Located in Kilmarnock, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to cater to climbers of all skill levels and abilities.
At Above Adventure, our goal is to make climbing accessible to everyone. We believe that climbing should be a sport that is enjoyed by people of all ages, genders, abilities, and backgrounds. Our facility is designed with that in mind, featuring a variety of climbing walls, equipment, classes and groups that are accessible and welcoming to everyone.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time climber, we have something for everyone. Our team of experienced instructors and staff members are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for climbers of all levels. We offer a variety of groups and classes, including introductory courses for beginners and adaptive climbing programs for individuals with physical impairments.
Our facility is also equipped with the latest climbing gear and safety equipment, ensuring that our climbers have the tools they need to climb with confidence. In addition to our climbing walls, we also offer a state-of-the-art sensory room for individual hire or group sessions and “The Base Camp” serving hot & cold drinks and snacks throughout the day.
